Vice President, Talent Management and Diversity
Andrea Lawson is vice president of talent management and diversity for Cox Enterprises, a leading communications, media and automotive services company with approximately 60,000 employees.
In this role, Lawson is responsible for the talent management and diversity & inclusion strategies, processes and programs that support current business needs as well as future growth objectives across the company’s portfolio of businesses. Her scope includes workforce planning, talent management, leadership development, enterprise learning, organizational effectiveness, succession planning, performance management, diversity & inclusion and corporate HR. She serves as a thought leader across the enterprise working with Cox leaders to drive sustainable employee engagement and long-term growth.
Lawson joined Cox in 2016 from NCR Corporation where she was responsible for global talent management including strategy, execution and measurement. Prior to NCR, Lawson was vice president of global talent management for Exide Technologies and held a number of international roles for Newell Rubbermaid.
Lawson holds a bachelor’s degree from Highbury College of Technology (Portsmouth, United Kingdom) and attended the College of West London postgraduate, receiving her CIPD qualification.
