Tripp is an accomplished and distinguished entrepreneur. He founded multiple technology companies across a variety of industries including internet banking, contactless payments, live events and subscription car service. Most recently, Cox Enterprises and Tripp established an innovation engine, backed by a $250 million commitment from Cox, which is designed to create and build disruptive technologies from the ground up. Tripp has been named an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, is a recipient of the MIT Distinguished Entrepreneur Achievement Award, and has been inducted into the Technology Hall of Fame of Georgia and the Georgia Institute of Technology Engineering Hall of Fame. Tripp was elected to the board of directors in December 2010.
