Vice President, Cox Talent Acquisition

Robert Woodard serves as vice president of Cox Talent Acquisition for Cox Enterprises.

In this role, he leads a team of more than 200 talent acquisition specialists and develops strategies to attract, recruit and place best-in-class diverse talent in open positions at Cox Enterprises and its divisions.

Woodard has more than 16 years of executive experience at Cox Communications, the company’s broadband communications and entertainment subsidiary, where he maintained leadership and accountability for more than 250 employees and over 450 vendor partners in his previous position as vice president of receivables management.

Prior to Cox, Woodard worked for Verizon Wireless, formerly GTE Mobilnet, in Illinois, Texas, Florida, Georgia and North Carolina. He served as director of the Great Lakes Region, where he managed three collections call centers.

He holds a master’s degree in business administration from Auburn University and is a graduate of East Carolina University. He is a graduate of The Dartmouth College — Tuck School of Business/SCTE Leadership Development Program; The Harvard Business School — Executive Development Program; and the University of Georgia, Terry College of Business — Cox Executive Development Program.
