Cox Enterprises Announces Andrea Lawson as Vice President of Talent and Organization Development


Cox Enterprises today announced Andrea Lawson as vice president of talent and organization development, effective immediately. She reports to Charlene Binder, Cox Enterprises’ senior vice president of human resources.

“Andrea’s wide range of experience across companies and cultures makes her particularly qualified for a leadership role in advancing our vision for developing talent at Cox,” said Binder. “She has a record of leading transformation and creating exceptional employee experiences. She understands that employee engagement and business results go hand in hand.”

Lawson is responsible for talent and organizational development for Cox Enterprises, one of the nation’s largest private companies with 55,000 employees. She serves as a key talent management thought leader across the enterprise working with Cox leaders to drive sustainable employee engagement and long-term growth.

Lawson joins Cox from NCR Corporation where she was responsible for global talent management including strategy, execution and measurement. Prior to NCR, Lawson was vice president of global talent management for Exide Technologies and held a number of international roles for Newell Rubbermaid.

Lawson holds a bachelor’s degree from Highbury College of Technology (Portsmouth, United Kingdom) and attended the College of West London postgraduate, receiving her CIPD qualification.
