Cox Enterprises Names Cody Partin as Vice President of Benefits, Compensation and Human Resources Technology Services
Betsy Vencius to retire after 26 years with company
Cox Enterprises today named Cody Partin as vice president of benefits, compensation and human resources technology services, effective immediately. He is succeeding Betsy Vencius, who is retiring after 26 years with the company.

Partin is responsible for the planning, strategic design, implementation and administration of benefits for Cox’s 55,000 employees, executive compensation programs and human resources technology services (HRTS). He also oversees the company’s payroll systems and health and wellness initiatives.
Partin previously served as vice president of real estate and corporate services, where he played an instrumental role in the expansion of the corporate campus and managed the company’s immense real estate portfolio. Prior to Cox, he was an associate at Dow Lohnes PLLC.
He serves as chair of the Fulton Perimeter Community Improvement District. He is a member of the board of trustees for Oglethorpe University, the board of directors for the Perimeter Business Alliance, the Sandy Springs/Perimeter Chamber of Commerce and TPG RE Finance Trust, Inc. He is an active supporter of CURE Childhood Cancer.
Partin earned a bachelor's degree in politics from Oglethorpe University, a juris doctor degree from Harvard Law School and a master’s of business administration degree from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia.

Vencius is retiring at year end from the company after 26 years with Cox. She launched Cox's successful Know Your Numbers program that helps employees understand and improve their physical and financial health. She also oversaw Cox's retirement and savings benefits that include a traditional pension plan, 401(k) and retiree medical - something offered by only six percent of Fortune 500 companies.
