Cox Enterprises Names Lissiah Taylor-Hundley as Diversity and Inclusion Strategist

Cox Enterprises today named Lissiah Taylor-Hundley as the company’s diversity and inclusion strategist, effective immediately.

In this role, Hundley is the company’s diversity and inclusion subject matter expert and an advisor to leadership and stakeholder groups across the organization. She partners with Cox’s divisions (Cox Communications, Cox Automotive and Cox Media Group) on enterprise-wide diversity and inclusion strategies. Hundley also ensures diversity and inclusion is incorporated throughout the company’s recruitment, talent management and retention initiatives, as well as goal setting and business plans.

Most recently, Hundley served as executive director of diversity and inclusion at Cox Communications, the company’s broadband communications and entertainment division.

“Lissiah is uniquely qualified to serve in this leadership position from her experience at Cox Communications, where she led the design and implementation of a diversity and inclusion strategy to support their values and business goals,” said Cox Enterprises Senior Vice President of Human Resources Charlene Binder. “She oversaw Cox Communication’s National Diversity Council, and has outstanding relationships with our national diversity partners. She understands that diversity is a business imperative.”

Prior to Cox, she was vice president of diversity and inclusion at Wells Fargo Bank. During that time, she worked closely with the executive vice president of enterprise diversity and inclusion and led the company’s diversity and inclusion team that supported nearly 280,000 employees. She also served as vice president of international operations management for West, where she managed the daily operations of centers in Jamaica and the Philippines. She also provided legal services in underserved communities through Legal Aid.

Hundley holds a doctorate in business and employment law from St. Mary’s Law School, a master’s degree in human resource management from the University of Texas and a bachelor’s degree in international relations from St. Mary’s University.
