Cox Enterprises Promotes Dan Dewar to Director of Corporate Human Resources
Cox Enterprises today announced that Dan Dewar has been promoted to director of corporate human resources, effective immediately. He reports to Robert Cahn, vice president of talent management and diversity.

He is responsible for the design and delivery of human resources activities for Cox Enterprises’ corporate employees, including employee relations, onboarding, performance management and talent acquisition. He also participates in enterprise-wide human resources initiatives such as employee opinion surveys and integrated talent management programs that impact the company’s 50,000 employees.
Dewar joined Cox in 2004 and previously worked for Philip Morris USA, which now operates as Altria.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in human resources from Georgia State University and a master’s degree in labor relations from Michigan State University.
