Cox Enterprises Promotes Jeffrey Osborne to Senior Director of Enterprise Procurement

Cox Enterprises today announced that Jeffrey Osborne has been promoted to senior director of enterprise procurement, effective immediately. He reports to Mark Leuenberger, assistant vice president of supply chain and fleet services.

“Jeffrey has transformed our supply chain to include sourcing services for corporate departments and  expanded support to Cox’s divisions, resulting in exceptional internal customer service and significant cost savings,” said Leuenberger. “Cox operates in multiple industries across the nation, and Jeffrey’s team does a tremendous job working with thousands of suppliers to create collaborative partnerships and fulfill Cox’s collective service and product needs.”

Osborne is responsible for the procurement budget and procurement organization overseeing the functions of strategic sourcing, procurement technology systems, vendor management office and shared services related to enterprise procurement. He also provides cross-divisional counsel to Cox’s divisions and corporate officers. His team establishes long-term, sustainable and competitive ways to source goods and services using technology, vendor management programs and sourcing professionals.

He also has oversight of Cox’s supplier diversity and supplier sustainability programs.

Osborne has been with Cox for more than 10 years and has held a variety of roles. He previously worked for Charter Communications and Comcast Communications, as well as served as a lieutenant in the United States Navy.

He earned a bachelor’s of science degree in accounting and business administration from Murray State University.
