Federal Emergency Management Agency
The mission of the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) Public Assistance (PA) Grant Program is to provide assistance to state, tribal and local governments, and certain types of Private Nonprofit organizations so that communities can quickly respond to and recover from natural disasters or emergencies declared by the President.
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is the largest program in the domestic hunger safety net. SNAP offers nutrition assistance to millions of eligible, low-income individuals and families and provides economic benefits to communities. The Food and Nutrition Service works with state agencies, nutrition educators, neighborhoods and faith-based organizations to ensure that those eligible for nutrition assistance can make informed decisions about applying for the program and can access benefits.
