Anne Cox Chambers

Mrs. Chambers is chairman of Atlanta Newspapers. She served as U.S. ambassador to Belgium from 1977 to 1981, and was a member of the board of directors for The Coca-Cola Company from 1981 to 1991 and Bank of the South from 1977 to 1982. She also is a trustee of the Atlanta Arts Alliance. Mrs. Chambers was elected to the board of directors in December 1951. She is the daughter of Cox Enterprises founder Governor James M. Cox and the sister of the late Barbara Cox Anthony, former Dayton Newspapers chairman.
