Nakul Warrier

Nakul Warrier leads the team responsible for managing all significant litigation matters against Cox Enterprises, Cox Communications and Cox Automotive. His team is also responsible for managing and defending our intellectual property rights, which includes Cox’s copyright, trademark and patent portfolios.

Nakul joined Cox Enterprises in 2021 as assistant general counsel of litigation and previously served as vice president for the Litigation Center of Excellence.

During his time at Cox, Nakul’s team has played a leading role in successfully resolving several high-profile litigation matters and securing trademarks and patents that are crucial to the business.

Prior to Cox, Nakul served as associate general counsel at Ricoh USA, where he led the intellectual property, antitrust litigation and global transaction teams. He has been practicing commercial and IP litigation since 2005 and has presented at numerous Corporate Intellectual Property Institute events. Nakul currently serves on the executive committee for Central Atlanta Progress and on the advisory committee for Atlanta Legal Aid. He was also a member of the Atlanta IP Inn of Court from 2016-2023.
 
Nakul earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from The Pennsylvania State University and graduated magna cum laude from the Villanova University School of Law.
