Craig Hodges oversees corporate communications, corporate social responsibility, and public affairs for Cox Enterprises.
Before joining Cox, Hodges served as vice president of corporate affairs and communications at VF Corporation, the parent company to apparel and footwear brands including Vans, The North Face and Timberland. During his 10 years there, Hodges was responsible for all aspects of communications that helped to promote and protect VF’s reputation, including public relations, crisis and issues management, executive visibility, ESG reporting, digital and social channels, and corporate sponsorships and advertising. He served on the company’s global executive leadership team.
With more than 25 years of experience in corporate affairs and communications, Hodges also served as a communications executive with Michelin, and at agencies including Edelman, the world’s largest independent strategic communications firm.
Hodges earned his bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of Tennessee. He is a member of the Arthur W. Page Society and an accredited member (APR) of the Public Relations Society of America.
Hodges serves on the Board of Trustees for the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Advisors for the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Directors for the Chattahoochee Nature Center, and the Executive Advisory Board for the Department of Advertising and Public Relations at the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism & Mass Communication.
