Fifteen students were selected as 2026 recipients of the Jim Kennedy Scholarship Fund, based on financial need and demonstrated commitment to personal growth.
Since 2008, the program has awarded 200 scholarships and provided more than $8 million in financial support to help students pursue higher education.
Established and personally funded by Jim Kennedy, chairman emeritus of Cox Enterprises and chairman of the James M. Cox Foundation, the program is open to any high school senior whose parent has worked at a Cox company full-time for at least three years.
The scholarship provides $10,000 annually toward the cost of tuition for up to four years if students maintain eligibility requirements for renewal.
Our 2026 winners were selected by an independent panel of judges from 160 applicants across the Cox family of businesses.
