Bob Jimenez on Purpose

07/03/2018

Bob Jimenez, senior vice president of Corporate Communications and Administrative Services at Cox Enterprises, was recently profiled in Hispanic Executive (HE) magazine about his career prior to and during his Cox tenure. The piece highlights the influence of his parents and his Puerto Rican heritage, his passion for the arts, his natural curiosity to seek out different points of view and his deep commitment to Cox’s corporate mission.

Over the past 15 years, Bob has built a 50-person team dedicated to creating a positive corporate reputation and social and environmental impact for Cox Enterprises. He has streamlined communications and public affairs platforms and helped formalize the Cox Conserves program.

Before joining Cox, Bob earned an MBA at Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business and went on to work for AT&T, Orlando Opera, Florida Hospital and Walt Disney World.

An advocate for the arts, Bob serves on the board of the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta. He also gives back by professionally mentoring others, a trait he credits to his father. “He demonstrated the importance of not only showing gratitude for what you have but also sharing what you have with others,” Bob said in the interview.
