Corporate Responsibility

Corporate Responsibility

At Cox, giving back is a vital part of our culture.

We are guided by a simple belief: Do the right thing for our employees, our customers and our communities. We do this in several ways: volunteerism through Team Cox, ensuring diversity in our workforce and sponsorships, corporate giving and through the James M. Cox Foundation.

Building a Better Future for Millions

Across the Cox family of businesses, we’re empowering our people to build a better future for the next generation. Our social impact initiative, known as 34 by 34, is aimed at removing obstacles and expanding access to programs to help 34 million people live more prosperous lives by 2034. From bridging the digital divide to addressing social equity and environmental sustainability challenges, we’re committed to growing the good in the communities we serve, one action at a time.

Team Cox

Team Cox

Community outreach at Cox means more than just donating money. Donating time and effort — being out in neighborhoods, on trails and along riverbanks — shows employees the direct impact they have. Team Cox volunteers make a difference through ocean cleanups, local food banks and more. In 2022, Points of Light chose Cox Enterprises to be among the 50 most community-minded companies in the United States.

Inclusion, Diversity & Equity

At Cox Enterprises, diversity is one of our core values – and it’s also a key ingredient to our success. We wouldn’t be the company we are today without the many unique talents and perspectives of our workforce. We continue to advocate for diversity by supporting the efforts of our national and local diversity partners.

Corporate Giving

Our corporate giving platform is focused on solving challenges for underserved communities in two strategic areas: environment and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math).
