Cox Auto Introduces a New Mobility Brand

02/05/2019

Get ready to Pivet. In January, the Cox Automotive Mobility Group launched Pivet, a new brand with a goal to provide end-to-end fleet services to enable transportation today and tomorrow.

pivet-logo-500x-wide.gifAs options like ride-hailing, car-sharing and vehicle subscription services gain traction, the proportion of miles traveled by consumer-owned vehicles versus fleet-owned vehicles will change dramatically. Inevitably, the emergence of fleets will disrupt the traditional car ownership model and we’ll start to see more fleet-owned vehicles on the road.

These fleet owners (dealers, original equipment manufacturers, rental car companies, service and delivery providers) will need a wide range of services, including cleaning, detailing, fueling and charging, maintenance, storage, parking, logistics, technology services and more in order to keep their fleets operational and efficient. Pivet connects industry-leading Cox Automotive brands, including Manheim and RideKleen, and other trusted providers, to handle every fleet need.

Driving the Fleets of the Future

The Pivet network will be a go-to resource for maximizing fleet vehicle uptime and profitability.

“The Pivet network includes physical hub locations as well as mobile solutions that service fleet vehicles where they are,” said Joe George, president of Mobility Solutions at Cox Automotive.

The recently overhauled Manheim Metro Atlanta Fleet Hub will serve as the flagship hub location, while RideKleen, a national mobile car care company, will power the initial mobile fleet services offering.

Why Pivet?

According to Joe, Pivet embodies the broader vision of the mobility future the Cox Automotive Mobility Solutions team will lead — grounded in the art and science of moving people. “The name is also a nod to us evolving to meet our clients’ changing needs and growth aspirations,” he said.
