Jimenez to oversee event management, audio/visual services and travel teams
Cox Enterprises today announced an expanded leadership role for Bob Jimenez, senior vice president of corporate communications and public affairs. In addition to his current responsibilities, Jimenez now manages the company’s event management, audio/visual services and travel teams.
“Bob is a trusted advisor to our senior leadership and has done an outstanding job growing and expanding the services provided by our company’s communications and public affairs team,” said Marybeth Leamer, executive vice president of human resources and administration. “At Cox, we are constantly looking for ways to grow our leaders, and this is a perfect example. These added responsibilities align closely with Bob’s existing body of work, and I know he will deliver exciting new results.”
Jimenez continues to be responsible for leading internal and external communications; public affairs; digital communications; issues management and crisis preparedness; as well as corporate responsibility programming and corporate giving. He also oversees the Cox Employee Relief Fund and serves as Cox's chief spokesperson.
Prior to joining Cox in 2003, Jimenez was a director of global communications and international marketing at AFC Enterprises. He held a variety of communications and public affairs roles with the Walt Disney World Company, Florida Hospital and the Orlando Opera Company.
