Cox Enterprises Names Mike Sugg as Senior Director of Talent Acquisition

04/27/2016

Cox Enterprises today named Mike Sugg as senior director of talent acquisition focusing on the company’s Cox Automotive division, effective immediately.

“Since day one, the employees of Cox have always been our top resource,” said Cox Enterprises Senior Vice President of Human Resources Charlene Binder. “Mike plays an important role making sure we are recruiting and retaining the top talent to drive our growth and innovation. The people of Cox Enterprises make this company great.”

The Cox Talent Acquisition department plays a critical role in sourcing, attracting and recruiting the best candidates for Cox’s talent needs across its communications, media and automotive divisions. Sugg will help lead the talent acquisition strategy and partner with Cox Automotive leadership to secure the talent needed to help Cox continue to grow and diversify.

Sugg joined Dealer.com in 2010 to build the company’s recruiting function, and in 2014, his role expanded to lead talent acquisition for both Dealertrack and Dealer.com. The two companies became part of Cox Automotive in 2015. He will continue to oversee talent acquisition for automotive software, while expanding his role across all automotive media, inventory and financial services businesses.

Sugg previously held multiple senior talent acquisition leadership positions for public software companies and managed a national recruiting search firm. Throughout his career, he has developed successful programs to attract top talent, built progressive teams and implemented forward-thinking talent acquisition strategies.

Sugg received a bachelor’s degree in human resources from Central Washington University.
