Cox Enterprises Promotes Doug Greene to Senior Director of Production Operations

Cox Enterprises today announced that Doug Greene has been promoted to senior director of production operations, effective immediately. He reports to Andre Reese, assistant vice president of information services operations.
“Doug is a key player in establishing the company’s long-term information technology goals,” said Reese. “Technology is continually evolving and changing, and Doug does a great job anticipating future business needs and developing technical solutions.”
Greene is responsible for the overall planning and execution of Cox’s information technology functions that support the company’s business applications. He oversees the operational support for applications in the enterprise resource planning (ERP) space such as the PeopleSoft Human Resource Management System (HRMS) and Oracle Financials E-Business Suite (EBS). He manages web and portal systems; provides support for all Oracle and Structured Query Language (SQL) database environments; and develops application support frameworks that provide architectural standards for data, systems and integration. He is also responsible for enterprise batch management and application monitoring.
Greene joined Cox in 2002 and has held a variety of IT-related roles in both development and operations. He previously worked for Atlanta Technology Partners, Cambridge Technology Partners and Shaw Industries.
He received a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from the University of Georgia.
