Cox Enterprises Promotes Sean Johnson to Director of Financial Reporting

Cox Enterprises today announced that Sean Johnson has been promoted to director of financial reporting, effective immediately. He reports to Shelley Saucelo, senior director of financial reporting.

“Sean manages the consolidation and external reporting of Cox’s financial results, provides technical accounting expertise and is our resident expert on Hyperion Financial Management, the company’s financial consolidation and reporting system,” said Saucelo. “Sean’s financial expertise plays an important role as the company continues to grow and diversify.”

In addition to managing the consolidation of Cox’s financial results, Johnson is responsible for analyzing division financial results and monitoring investment activity. He also coordinates the annual financial statement audit with the independent auditors.

Johnson joined Cox in 2009 as manager of financial reporting and most recently served as senior manager of financial reporting. He previously held financial roles with Premiere Global Services and PRG Schultz International.

He received bachelor’s degrees in accounting and finance from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and is a certified public accountant.
