Cox Enterprises Promotes Shelley Saucelo to Senior Director of Financial Reporting

Cox Enterprises today announced that Shelley Saucelo has been promoted to senior director of financial reporting, effective immediately. She will continue reporting to Jack Polish, vice president and controller.

“Shelley brings more than twenty years of experience in dealing with complex accounting and financial reporting issues to this role,” said Polish.  “She does a great job tackling complex projects, delivering precise results and anticipating future needs.”

In this role, she is responsible for Cox Enterprises consolidated financial reporting and financial reporting functions for Cox Communications, the company’s broadband and cable subsidiary.  She manages the company’s accounting policies and oversees the technical application, preparation and review of financial information. She also supports technical accounting research on the company’s business transactions, including valuations for accounting and financial reporting purposes.

Saucelo joined Cox in 2001 as manager of financial reporting and most recently served as director of financial reporting. Prior to Cox, she was a corporate controller for Euramax International and audit manager for PwC.

She graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting and finance from Kennesaw State University. She is a certified public accountant (CPA) and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs.
