Cox Enterprises Promotes Steve Bradley to Assistant Vice President of Environmental Sustainability
01/19/2017
Cox Enterprises today announced that Steve Bradley has been promoted to assistant vice president of environmental sustainability, effective immediately. He reports to Keith Mask, vice president of environmental sustainability.
“Steve does a great job making sure our sustainability program is good for the environment and for the bottom line,” said Mask. “He identifies ways for our company to operate efficiently and helps Cox be an environmental leader by embracing new technologies and sharing best practices with our industry peers.”
Bradley helps manage the strategic plan for Cox Conserves, the company’s national sustainability program that seeks to send zero waste to landfill by 2024 and be carbon and water neutral by 2044. He has direct responsibility for alternative energy and water projects. Since 2007, his team has completed nearly 40 alternative energy projects across the country and conserved 57 million gallons of water.
Bradley oversees electrical and mechanical engineering for Cox’s facilities, including new construction design, retrofits and infrastructure monitoring and management. He also helps lead initiatives for Seven Islands Environmental Solutions, a Cox subsidiary.
Prior to joining Cox, Bradley served as an engineer for Georgia Power, where he managed the design, construction, operations and maintenance of high-voltage transmission stations.
He frequently speaks on environmental panels and serves on the boards of Nexus Fuels, a plastic-to-energy company, and the Institute for Georgia Environmental Leadership (IGEL). He is a 2012 graduate of the IGEL program and was named to the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Who’s Who in Sustainability list. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Mississippi State University.
