Cox Enterprises Promotes T. Scott Leazer to Assistant Vice President of Information Technology Business Solutions

Cox Enterprises today announced that T. Scott Leazer has been promoted to assistant vice president of information technology business solutions, effective immediately. He reports to Mark Dawson, vice president of information technology business solutions.

“As a technology company, Cox provides innovative products to its customers, and Scott ensures we deploy the most current solutions within our business as well,” said Dawson. “Under Scott’s leadership, we utilize technology solutions that provide cost savings and enable our businesses to operate as efficiently as possible.”

In his role, Leazer provides customer support to various corporate departments at Cox Enterprises and its subsidiaries. He oversees a group that strategically plans, designs, develops, implements and supports financial software solutions across Cox’s businesses.

Prior to joining Cox in 2001, he was manager of payroll applications for Federated Systems Group and manufacturing accounting manager for Oakwood Homes. He also worked for Salisbury Marble and Granite, Co.

Leazer earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He chairs the board of directors for the Outward Bound Atlanta nonprofit organization.
