Cox Enterprises Promotes Troy Olson to Director of Information Technology Service Management

Cox Enterprises today announced that Troy Olson has been promoted to director of information technology (IT) service management, effective immediately. He reports to Andre Reese, assistant vice president of information services operations.
“Troy provides forward-thinking leadership and in-depth knowledge of IT-related support and delivery systems,” said Reese. “As a technology company, Cox places a strong emphasis on innovation. Troy does a great job partnering with our business leaders and divisions to ensure we are providing best practices as our company continues to grow.”
Olson shapes strategy for Cox’s IT service management activities, ensures systems are updated and operating effectively and oversees the general controls process and assessments. He also manages the IT disaster recovery and business continuity program.
Olson joined Cox in 2000. He previously held technology roles at ADP and Vanstar.
He attended Northern Virginia Community College and holds certifications in Business Continuity, Service Management and Six Sigma.
