Techstars Week 4: Execution is Key

08/13/2018

Cox Enterprises is proud to partner with Techstars Atlanta as a supporter of its third annual cohort. The ten companies chosen to participate in the 12-week startup accelerator program this year represent best-in-class entrepreneurs from six U.S. states and Israel. The program is housed at Ponce City Market in Atlanta.

The five employees of BigTeam are busy this week tweaking their marketing strategy and adding new product features.

See, it’s week 4 of Techstars Atlanta — a nationally recognized, 12-week boot camp for entrepreneurs presented in partnership with Cox Enterprises — and that means it’s time to start incorporating the feedback the entrepreneurs received from meeting with top executives around Atlanta during the first part of the program, referred to as “Mentor Madness.”

“Things are on track,” said Trevor Wolfe, founder of BigTeam. “We feel like we have a plan and a direction, and we are going to be spending the next month pursuing that direction.”

BigTeam is a platform designed for business teams like marketers or customer experience professionals to help them generate feedback from employees, clients and stakeholders. Trevor said BigTeam decided to broaden its target market to include product managers based on suggestions from several mentors.

According to Trevor, the Techstars process has been fantastic. “It’s been transformative not just for me, but the entire team.”

The program culminates in a Demo Day Oct. 15, where the company founders have a chance to pitch their unique business plan to hundreds of potential investors and community supporters.
