The Future of Fleeting is Now in Atlanta

06/17/2019

Cox Enterprises President and CEO Alex Taylor and Cox Automotive President Sandy Schwartz joined community guests, including Atlanta government officials and journalists, on-site for a tour of the industry’s first 35,000-square foot mobility fleet services facility.

Tomorrow’s Technology Today
Guests enjoyed a firsthand look at the Pivet innovations lab, ride-share drivers lounge, state-of-the-art reconditioning center and mobile car care capabilities powered by RideKleen at the newly renovated Manheim building.

The Manheim Metro Atlanta Fleet Hub serves as Pivet’s flagship hub location. Pivet, a new Cox Automotive brand announced in early 2019, connects industry-leading Cox Automotive brands and trusted providers to support end-to-end fleet services through a network of physical locations and mobile solutions. This fleet hub model will be replicated in other markets at select Manheim facilities across the country, expanding Cox Automotive’s mobility footprint.

Covering everything from car sharing and fleet management to autonomous driving and futuristic technologies, mobility is the basic concept of getting from point A to point B. It’s also an innovative market in which Cox Automotive is investing for the future of the automobile industry.

"There’s a lot of new technology coming our way,” said Alex Taylor in his remarks to the group. “This is a place that’s beginning to respond to the changing needs of [automotive] customers.”

Making a Positive Impact
The Manheim Metro Atlanta Fleet Hub further reinforces Cox Automotive’s continued investment in the city of Atlanta, including the revitalization efforts on the south side. Investing more than $100,000 in electric vehicle charging infrastructure, Cox Automotive Mobility is also partnering with Georgia Power on additional collaborations and investments to help solve the retail “charging desert” in the area.

This fleet hub location will also have a positive impact on the state, helping move the auto industry forward in Georgia as it relates to electrification and overall mobility innovation.
