Embracing Inclusion in Our Workforce

Our employees are our most important resource, and we are committed to fostering an environment that builds on the unique talents and perspectives of our people. While we’re always working to get better, we embrace an inclusive culture of fairness and respect, value and belonging, empowerment and growth. No two employees look or think the same — and we prefer it that way! We provide our people the opportunity to chart their own career path and share their unique perspectives, with a focus on recruiting, development, internships, mentorship and opportunities to connect through diversity councils and employee resource groups (ERGs).

Pushing for Progress in Our Society

We believe in human rights, justice and empowering our communities through investment, philanthropy, kindness, compassion and inclusion. But more than anything, we believe in doing what’s right, always. We have established a $1 million fund and disbursed it to the Equal Justice Initiative, United Negro College Fund, National Urban League, National Center for Civil and Human Rights, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Action. We also committed to supporting the Ad Council’s Racial Equality campaign with $1 million in donated advertising time on Cox Communications’ network. This support will help spread the message of racial justice through the Ad Council's Love Has No Labels campaign.

We form mutually beneficial partnerships with suppliers who offer high-quality and competitively priced products and services. Cox companies spend about $800 million annually with diverse suppliers.
