Techstars: The Power of Referrals
10/05/2018
Cox Enterprises is proud to partner with Techstars Atlanta as a supporter of its third annual cohort. Case Status is one of 10 companies chosen to participate in the 12-week startup accelerator program this year that represent best-in-class entrepreneurs from six U.S. states and Israel. The program is housed at Ponce City Market in Atlanta.
Sometimes a company’s best marketing comes not from dollars spent on advertising, but from satisfied customers.
Keeping customers happy — and making sure they tell others about their great experience — is what Case Status has set out to do for a very niche market: law firms. Case Status keeps clients up-to-date on what’s happening with their case in real-time, which saves attorneys time and creates a better client experience.
The cloud-based solution also helps attorneys capture client recommendations at a time of their choosing (when clients are most likely to share a positive review) and makes it easy for clients to share a referral with a click of a button. Clients download a mobile app that gives them instant access to the updates and information they need.
The app also allows for quick messaging between attorneys and clients.
Created From Experience
Founder Lauren Sturdivant said she observed the pain point of client communication when she was a practicing attorney. Providing clients with case updates sucked up countless hours of attorney and support staff time. And one of the biggest complaints from clients is that they are not being kept apprised of the progress of their case.
“We are on a mission to improve the way attorneys and clients communicate, reduce stress for attorneys and their staff, and create the ultimate marketing tool for firms,” said Lauren.
Demo Day Approaching
The culmination of the Techstars program is fast approaching: Demo Day is Oct. 15. At the event, company founders pitch their business plan to hundreds of potential investors and community supporters.
