Resources for Living: Free counseling is offered through Resources for Living. Use up to eight free sessions per topic, as well as work-life resources and professional services for legal and financial advice, with face-to-face options or remote services through chat, email, video or phone. Care@Work for Child, Elder and Pet Care: We provide free access to the premium Care.com database of vetted care providers for all the members of your family, even the four-legged ones. We also offer subsidized care options to help when your regular child or elder care providers fall through. Headspace for Guided Meditation: Access guided meditation and relaxation to help decrease stress and anxiety and promote better sleep through Headspace. Employees can claim a free membership at InSideCox.com/MentalHealth.

Hinge Health for At-home Physical Therapy: Hinge Health provides physical therapy from the comfort of your own home using high-end wearables and app-guided exercises overseen by your personal care team. This benefit can be leveraged to prevent on-the-job injuries, treat acute and chronic pain and assist in post-surgery rehab.  Hinge Health is available at no cost to employees and their dependents enrolled in the Cox Medical Plan.

Livongo for Chronic Condition Management and Weight Loss: Livongo incorporates impactful lifestyle tools and creates a personalized action plan to address chronic illnesses such as diabetes, prediabetes and hypertension. You’ll learn how to eat healthier, manage your weight and boost your mental health. Livongo is available at no cost to employees and their dependents enrolled in the Cox Medical Plan.

Know Your Numbers Preventive Health Screenings: Know Your Numbers is our flagship preventive care program that offers up to $400 in payroll credits to employees and their spouse or partner who complete an annual health screening while enrolled in the Cox Medical Plan. These screenings include diabetes, thyroid, cholesterol and prostate tests, as well as an optional colorectal test.

From financial literacy to discounted services, we provide:

Financial Literacy: My Money 101 powered by Truist Momentum is a guided program that teaches you financial-literacy basics so you can confidently manage your money. 

Discounted Home, Auto, Pet and Identity Theft Insurance: Cox Added Benefits offers negotiated group discounts on insurance for your home, automobiles and pets, as well as identity theft protection.

Financial Coaching: Resources for Living provides you and your household members access to free financial coaching with one free, 30-minute telephone consultation per topic. Topics include budget planning, retirement saving, business finance, legal assistance, taxes and audits. If you need more time or guidance, you can keep working with a financial coach at a discounted rate.

Tuition Reimbursement: Provides financial reimbursement for all full- and part-time employees for courses at an accredited educational institution. This includes traditional degrees (associate, bachelor’s, master’s and Ph.D. programs), vocational programs (mechanic, electrician, etc.) and professional certifications (project management, coding, change management etc.). You can even earn a GED certification or take English as a second language classes.  

Legal Assistance: This is also available through Resources for Living. You'll receive a free, 30-minute consultation per each legal matter and a reduced rate if you decide to continue working with the attorney.

Family Care

Families come in different forms, and we support them with a variety of programs.  

Fertility Benefit: Progyny helps employees and their spouse or domestic partner enrolled in the Cox Medical Plan, including LGBQT+ families and single individuals, with a custom fertility treatment plan to grow their families. They also offer personal care assistants to educate you about your options, help coordinate and prepare for appointments, and provide unlimited clinical and emotional support throughout your fertility journey.    

Adoption Assistance: This is a $5,000 benefit payable to employees who have successfully finished the adoption process. Those seeking two adoptions in the same year can receive up to $10,000. This benefit can also be used to legally adopt family members or stepchildren.

Breast Milk Delivery: Milk Stork is a breast milk delivery service that provides no-fuss express shipping or easy toting of refrigerated breast milk home to baby. This service is available at no cost for nursing mothers, covered by the Cox Medical Plan, who are traveling for business.

Leaves of Absence

There may be times when you need to step away from work to care for your health, spend time with a new addition to your family, serve our country in the military or manage other personal matters. Employees can log in to InSideCox.com for more information on leaves. 

To provide you with the most flexibility when you need it, Cox offers a variety of leave options. They include eight weeks of paid parental leave, paid time off to vote, volunteer and fulfill jury duty. Members of the armed forces may take military leave with certain compensation for the required time off to serve. 

Employees can take flexible, enhanced paid time off and paid wellness time when they need to recharge or take care of personal matters. All employees can also take unpaid personal leave when all other time-off options have been used. 

We also offer short- and long-term disability leave when you can’t work due to a non-work-related illness or injury.
