CCI is taking high speed to the next level by becoming a new sponsor for the Drone Racing League’s innovative competitions, as well as one of its premier pilots.

The Drone League’s World Championship Series incorporates iconic locations and world-class pilots to showcase the latest in drone technology. The series includes seven racing competitions that will air in 14 episodes this fall on ESPN.

Wearing headsets that provide a view from the cockpit, pilots maneuver their drones through obstacle courses at speeds of up to 80 mph.

Two of this year’s races will be filmed in Cox markets in Tucson and Las Vegas over the next two months.

This sponsorship underscores Cox’s ongoing commitment to developing and incorporating new technology into our businesses. And in support of the sponsorship, CCI’s marketing team will soon launch an advertising campaign that will link the drones to our services like Panoramic WiFi and high-speed internet for in-home networks.
